High Level Expression under Serum- and Protein-Free Culture Conditions
Proprietary or patent-free expression systems:
The expression cassettes in pEGX plasmids are optimized with respect to promoter
and enhancer elements, poly adenylation and splicing signals. In combination with
our serum- and protein-free growing CHOSI cell lines we reached product concentrations
up to 120 mg/l at the end of a batch culture. For two phase production systems (e.g.
for expression of cytotoxic proteins) we use inducible expression vectors.
The pEGX high-level-expression vectors are available with different selection systems:
- amplificable markers for increased productivity
- novel affordable marker system for continuous selection in long term and large scale processes.
